Evaluation of the ship

I remember the first lockdown in March 2020 very clearly but I remember even better my cruise on Costa Smeralda in October of the same year! When we set off on this all-Italian adventure there was still a curfew in Italy (an absolutely absurd thing) but on board the situation was completely different. I had so much fun and relaxed between incredible theatrical performances, delicious dishes and whirlpool.

I rediscovered my own country in a new way and I remember that every night at the restaurant there were dishes inspired by the day's port of call. Everything worked perfectly and I had the chance to meet other fellow travelers who, like me, were invited to take part in this unforgettable experience. The ship itself is stunning, bright, modern and with attention to detail in every corner.

Personally I would gladly repeat the all-Italian itinerary. And if I were a foreign tourist, I would really appreciate the opportunity to visit 6 or 7 Italian destinations in just a single week. It's really a shame that this itinerary was later discontinued.

Another thing that stands out in my memory are the shows,  especially the performance by Fabrizio Casalino (featured in my vlog), not to mention the karaoke competition, in which I miserably failed but had so much fun!

Every night there was also a game inspired by real television shows (like who wants to be a millionaire etc.) where anyone who wanted could actively participate and have fun!

I would repeat this cruise a million times!

The entertainment on board was however present at any time of the day and in any area of the ship and this shows how Costa Crociere is able to offer a high level of service focusing in particular on entertainment and the highest quality food.
