How to read the travel blog

In the Travel Blog there are three main categories: "Travel Diary", "Travel Tales" and "On a Cruise", find out more about each of them by visiting the dedicated pages.

In each section of the Travel Blog the articles are divided by year, so it will be possible to easily find both old and new posts.

After each article there are the "recommended" contents as well as quick links to return to the different sections of the Blog and finally a button to make a single donation.

Each article has "icons" before and after the title, they represent the category to which the post belongs and the contents that are present, e.g. "🛳️ World Europe MSC 📖 📸 🎥 📎".

Before the title may be present one of these "icons":

📓 : The post belongs to the category "Travel Diary"
📝 : The post belongs to the category "Travel Stories"
🛳️ : The post belongs to the category "On Cruise"

The following "icons" may be present after the title:

📖 : The article contains text to read
📸 : The article contains photos or a photo gallery
🎥 : The article presents video content (usually Travel Vlog or similar)
📎 : There are links to other related articles

The evaluation sheets

The different articles of the Travel Blog there is an evaluation card with 5 categories each of which can have a score ranging from ★ to ★★★★★; this applies both to the diary and travel stories and to cruises, here's how to read and interpret the card:

For the Travel Diary and Travel Stories:

★ Safety/Cleaning : Assessment given by a mix of two factors, safety at any time of the day and cleanliness and order of the territory.
★Welcome/€ : It is intended to evaluate both the reception in terms of population and in economic terms, such as a value for money given but by the "welcome" factor of the territory.
★ Attractions : Everything related to attractions, whether artificial or natural, from the museum to the beach, taking into account bars, restaurants and even street artists.
★ Daytime Life : How do you live during the day? People, bars, attractions and events; not neglecting the natural beauties that you can explore.
★ Nightlife : Everything related to nightlife, from the disco to the pub, up to the tavern and the "quietest" "night Life" made of walks and everything that nature offers.

For Cruises:

★ Interior/Exterior : The inner and outer decks of the ship are evaluated in their entirety.
★ Entertainment: From theatrical performances to daytime and nighttime entertainment for all tastes.
★ Services/Quality: Overall rating given by the quantity and quality of services on board such as booking excursions, staff assistance, swimming pools, SPA etc.
★ Catering: From the buffet to the restaurant, the quality of the food, its variety, the opening hours of the catering services and even the service.
★ Comfort/Price : This ratio indicates, in reference to comfort and services received, if the price is correct and aligned with the on-board experience.
