Evaluation of the ship

This MSC Volta has surpassed itself. The company's new flagship has finally found a way to turn around and stand out from the crowd.

The materials on board evoke a futuristic design, making the interiors much more pleasant than in other ships. The ship is very well lit in all its areas and what could be a defect (the promenade view, or cabins with balcony view inside the ship) in reality a genius was observed.

The Promenade bridge is a real square and it seems to be in any city with bars and a "condo", if you ever happen to take a cruise aboard this ship you will probably spend a lot of time in this "square" where in the evening there are also parties and events.

Despite these big news that will certainly change the experience on board for guests, the style of MSC is clearly perceived from the outer decks, by the pool, in the large buffet and for the imposing casino.

In addition, on board MSC Wolrd Europe there is a SECRET BAR that can be accessed through a typical English telephone booth, but it is not so easy to access!

To be able to do it, you need to find on board (you don't know where exactly) "tokens" that are very difficult to find (someone could give them to you under the counter with the right insistence) and then you need to call a phone number inside the phone booth to book, the guest will have to show up inside the phone booth at a set time with his token and only in this way will he be able to access the secret MSC bar, if someone was wondering... NO, there is no other way to access it from any deck of the ship but only from the phone booth (secret passage).

Not all guests are aware of this and tokens are limited so if you are on board this cruise ship... GOOD LUCK!

Our itinerary? The classic Western Mediterranean between Spain, France and Italy.

When I say a week on board I literally mean, since I knew all the docking ports well and considering that it was cold and rainy all week I decided to get off once for two hours in Civitavecchia and to devote all the time to life on board between bars, swimming pool, shows, parties and I even tried the barber on board.

Only flaw? Too full of kids because of the presence of 4 school groups.
