Evaluation of the ship

Today we are used to seeing ever larger and more imposing cruise ships, real giants of the sea that almost look like floating cities. Visiting Costa Deliziosa , reminded me how fascinating a ship can be when it is elegant, refined and rich in detail, where every space seems designed to convey harmony, beauty and pleasure.

The name "Deliziosa" perfectly reflects the sensations you feel as soon as you step on board. From the very first steps in the common areas you are embraced by a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The style is distinctly Mediterranean with light colors and materials that recall the Italian tradition, giving a refined but never too formal atmosphere.

What struck me most, however, was the art: masterpieces are scattered everywhere, every bridge, corridor and room tells a story of creativity, passion and attention to detail.

It's like walking through a floating art gallery, where every corner invites you to pause and admire a sculpture, a painting or a modern piece.

Of course, Costa Deliziosa doesn't lack the comforts typical of Costa ships. It offers indoor pools perfect for any season, an unexpected billiard room for leisure moments, bars and lounges where you can relax or chat over a drink.

On board, the cuisine is a real highlight. The restaurants serve dishes that take you on a journey through Italian and international flavors, and on some occasions, you might even find menus personally crafted by Chef Bruno Barbieri, a true delight for food lovers.

I must admit , Costa Deliziosa has impressed me more than many larger, more modern ships. It is a vessel that doesn't just focus on size or quantity, but on sensory experiences, beauty, and exceptional service.
