Evaluation of the ship

The name of this ship, Jewel of The Seas, translates to "jewel of the sea", and I don't think there is a more apt definition to describe the experience you live on board.
From the first moment, the ship looks like a concentrate of services and comfort: it is large, welcoming, designed to make every guest feel like the protagonist of a truly international holiday. What struck me the most were the common areas, some interior areas with their dark shades of brown and bronze that may appear a little "dark" compared to the most modern and bright ships. In any case each area is designed to offer relaxation, leisure and elegance.
The outdoor environments, on the other hand, are really spectacular: terraces, swimming pools and sun areas give you a beautiful view of the sea and are perfect for enjoying the sunset or a simple break maybe in the pool or in the deckchairs.
Among the areas that I appreciated the most there is certainly the billiard room where you can breathe an international atmosphere and the game room always full of children and families.
The buffet is really large and varied, with proposals ranging from American to Asian and Mediterranean cuisine to satisfy guests of all nationalities, the great thing is that every day you can taste new dishes and experience different tastes.
A detail not to be underestimated concerns the language and management on board: here you pay in American dollars and most of the staff speak English, so those who do not chew their tongue well may feel a little bestunted.
Another important aspect to consider, especially for those traveling with the family is the rule that prohibits children under 18 years of age from moving alone on the ship, if you have teenage children aged 16-17 this limitation can be inconvenient especially if you are used to other companies that do not provide for such constraints.
Jewel of The Seas is really a small floating jewel: an elegant, international ship, able to amaze with its variety of services but which also requires a bit of spirit of adaptation and attention to the rules, especially for those traveling with children, I recommend this ship to those looking for a cosmopolitan experience and know the English language quite well.
